Emerson Product Manager - KGV SBU in Brisbane, Australia

As a Product Manager you will manage the formulation and execution of global product strategy, along with supporting day-to-day business.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead and drive new product development

  • Identify and complete portfolio-enhancing improvement and/or cost-out programs – includes features,improvementss, and rationalization / obsolescence programs

  • Actively lead the financial success of the portfolio, including Orders growth and Sales margin across all World Areas

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate product roadmap – includes new products, tiers, features, improvements, and applications

  • Conduct voice of customer research, visit customers, and attend industry events to understand driven threats and unmet customer needs

  • Handle global product certifications

  • Complete annual routine portfolio review to resolve opportunities for rationalization and obsolescence of products

  • Develop and maintain global price list and product configuration options

  • Execute annual routine price review to identify price opportunities and global and regional strategies

  • Set clear quote / no quote guidelines and ensure PSQ adoption

  • Lead special pricing agreements (SPA) for select opportunities

  • Develop and maintain product collateral targeted at core industries and applications – content should relate key product features to customer critical metrics and/or pains

  • Work with central marketing group to support online content and campaigns

  • Support PSQ, Emerson entities, and customer requests as required

  • Support and/or provide product training to customers and Emerson partners

  • Manage Delegation of Authority (DOA) with world areas

  • Develop and communicate product reports as required

Who You Are:

You Identify and seize new opportunities. Works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives. You provide timely and helpful information to others across the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related discipline.

  • Experience in product management, engineering, technical sales, operations, supply chain
