Emerson ETS - Business Development Manager in CIUDAD DE MEXICO, Mexico
ETS Business Development Manager is responsible to develop and drive orders and sales for overall ETS solutions.
Accountable for ETS KPIs and grow the overall ETS on aftermarket business (KOB3) and towards meet and GP targets for Mexico region.
Responsible to lead and coach Emerson and Partners sales teams in the ETS strategy and tactics.
This role requires selected candidate to be confident when talking to customers and to be proficient selling the value, under minimal supervision, proactively, the successful candidate
will be responsible for driving ETS sales; Duties include sales lead development and qualification with sales force, CRM update, Drive Customer Seminars, Execute ETS initiatives
and meet desired KPI.
Must be able to collaborate with the EMR local sales and operations teams in the pursuit of large and/or complex systems projects, in a constructive and respectful manner.
Basic Functions:
Develop ETS sales strategies and tactical implementation doing a weekly follow up on the initiatives Dashboards.
Under minimal supervision, proactively, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving ETS sales in Mexico.
Sales lead development and qualification
CRM growth and update
Drive customer seminars
Meet desired KPIs.
Accountable for ETS POR commitment
Follow-up Emerson policies and processes at all time.
Lead Opportunity review and DOA processes as needed.
Responsibilities:
Achieve ETS sales quota assignment in a yearly basis.
Lead and execute ETS Initiatives focused in aftermarket business mainly
Update and Follow up opportunities in CRM: Max 3% monthly overdue, 15M USD 12 months rolling.
Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all proposals submitted, while effort to maintain maximum profit margin.
Develop strategic and tactical plan for making the targets by identifying major aftermarket opportunities that are in the “funnel” and tracking their progress for success
Maintains accurate records of pricing market level, sales and activities to report
Being a Subject Matter Expert to support Mexico´s territory sales teams and in consequence generate value in the ETS offerings to customer.
Travel availability: 60% of the time requires to travel across Mexico country.
There are no direct reports for this position. However, the ability to manage & influence direct and indirect sales channel to drive growth initiatives and market penetration is essential. Also to collaborate with Operations
Must have the ability to communicate, present, resolve & apply knowledge to resolve timely and satisfactorily any customer need
Meet face-to-face with target customers, having ability to identify Key Decision Makers
Collaboration with specialized ETS teams in USA
Comply with ORB, DOA process, CRM update, Proposal request processes, Expense reporting, Travel guidance’s (CWT), FCPA, Trade and EHS training and any other corporate training, certification required by Emerson
Monitor Win/Lost opportunities and understand what is really important to customers, what works and does not work and what we need to win
Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in selling, working in executing aftermarket services in the automation industry.
Experienced and familiar with Energy and Transportation Solutions is a plus
Channel Management required to amplify business
Capable of translating technologies features and capabilities into business value for customers
Experience managing Installed Base and selling aftermarket services
Strong team player
Education:
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering Process Automation with strong sales experience
Language:
- Spanish/English communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels within our clients’ organization: TOEFLT or IELTS proficiency test required.
Additional Required:
60% time traveling across Mexico Country
Valid Passport and US visa
