The Manager Commercial Excellence will drive digital transformation and implementation of Sales Excellence. Your focus will be implementation of the Emerson Digital Customer Experience towards a coordinated and assisted buying experience. Furthermore, you will share the responsibility with the General Manager and Sales Leadership to assure an efficient Sales process, to increase customer value through greater customer insights, better customer care, and optimized channel approaches.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support sales by deepening customer insights, improving customer care, and optimizing channels

  • Improve usage of our Content Management System (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and other sales enablement platforms

  • Implement changes in processes, tools, and strategies for sales functions, using analytics to measure and improve efficiency and performance

  • Lead digital business initiatives and projects

  • Develop growth plans aligned with Emerson Benelux's strategy, including training, tools, processes, and organizational change

  • Ensure a consistent Digital Customer Experience, focusing on Omni Channel implementation, eCommerce in Benelux, and Digital Front Door adoption (e.g., MyEmerson, Portals/EDI, Punchout)

  • Lead a small team for Marketing and the Sales Desk

  • Coordinate and coach BUs and cross-BU sales teams, growing customer relationships and embedding industry fluency

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Commercial or technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Extensive project delivery experience

  • Excellent understanding of sales processes, experience of working in sales or sales operations and customer care

  • Appropriate levels of experience leading, mentoring and developing teams

  • Good understanding of CRM & CMS tools

  • Proficiency in English language

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in delivery of digital programs in a complex Matrix organization

  • Experience in industrial automation environment; with a good knowledge of technical products and understanding of similar industries (e.g. chemical, petrochemical, energy, power, life science)

  • Proficiency in Dutch/ Flemish language
