Emerson Master Scheduler in EDE, Netherlands

We are looking for a resourceful Master Scheduler with strong customer focus and planning skills to join our dynamic business! This is a 12-month opportunity to support the Operations Planning and Scheduling team.

By joining us as a Master Scheduler, you will work to ensure flawless execution in the delivery of orders to our customers by creating and maintaining a Master Production Schedule that satisfies customer demand with optimum inventory levels and resource utilization.

In this role your responsibilities will be:

  • Run the daily Scheduling Report from Oracle

  • Release Internal Requisitions on other world areas for B2B

  • Solve business system related issues with orders if found or escalate these internally

  • Review all open Lead Time (improvement) Requests

  • Handle critical customer issues

  • Respond to e-mail from Sales, Customer Contact Teams and Production

  • Participate in the daily Production Meeting

  • Daily rescheduling of sales orders due to components and logistics delay

  • Attend the weekly Interco Meeting with global counter parts

  • Perform Supply Planner activities in a back-up role

  • Advise to build-up or outsource complete orders

  • Assess the increase or decrease of safety-stock levels

  • Attend Kick-Off meetings for project orders from the Project Management team

  • Initiate continuous improvement (CIP) projects/activities

  • Work according to ISO14001 and ISO 9001 and be an interlocutor during re(certification) audits

You are methodical, self-motivated, well organized and coordinate your own workload and priorities skillfully. You are a valued teammate, working seamlessly within the team and also comfortable working independently.

For this role you will need:

  • Fluency in both English and Dutch languages

  • Previous positive experience in an Operations or Supply Chain environment.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.)

  • Experience using an ERP system, preferably Oracle

Preferred qualifications that set you apart:

  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field (i.e. logistics)

  • APICS CPIM qualifications

Contract on offer:

  • A temporary 12-month employment contract (start date either May 1st or June 1st) for a full-time (40 hour per week) role
