Emerson Supplier Performance Manager in FIORENZUOLA D'ARDA, Italy

The purpose of this position is to support continuous improvement of Global Business processes for suppliers development. This position will also be accountable for the execution of the Supply Velocity Improvement, will drive and redesign the development of Suppliers Network in the region.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support ongoing development of local and global Supplier program within the Region;

  • Implement global systems for Supplier Performance management throughout the regional supplier base;

  • Work with Category Management teams and local Supply managers on identification of Regional and Site Level Key Suppliers and set-up reviews to supervise performance and put in place corrective actions;

  • Conduct supplier audits (systems & processes), establish action plans with suppliers and lead follow-up, working closely with the Site Quality team;

  • Provide support to suppliers on how to improve relevant processes and increase efficiency (collaborative Supply Chain);

  • Conduct and research investigations on any issue reported by sites and/or suppliers, see opportunities, potential barriers and find solutions to improve the overall supply base performance;

  • Coordination with Regional and Global Supply Management organization and plants.

  • Improve supplier performance through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Project Management, or generally accepted quality improvement tools (FMEA, MSA/Gage R&R, Control Plans, Capability Analysis, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, etc.);

  • Supervise the action items coming out of the 245C / 245S exhibits for the sites and support side actions working together with the category/ tactical supply on Delivery Frequency Improvement and Inventory Optimization programs;

  • Work with the Supply and Logistics Teams on Re-Design and implementation of Supply Network Models taking using tools like OTM / 3 PL Models to improve delivery frequency / Reduce Inventory Levels and Improve Cash Position for the enterprise;

  • Work with Key Suppliers to build partnerships to implement Supplier Lean Deployment Programs and act as a subject matter authority in this area.

You love challenges, you are an energic communicator, able to interact and adapt your style according to different partners and audiences. You are proactive and have excellent problem solving skills, you are also able to convey technical contents thanks to your shown knowledge.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Three (3) year Technical Degree. Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Business is an advantage.

  • Three to six years Supply and Planning Experience with a good overview of Operations.

  • Total Experience of at least five years.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Previous experience in the role in an international company is a plus
