With the ability to be based in several locations, you will you build and implement the strategies and related programs to secure top talent for multiple business groups, accounting for approximately 700 annual salaried positions. Your focus is North America, but you collaborate with the regional talent acquisition teams to support Business Group and global talent initiatives.
You report to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition and are a member of the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, supplying the development and execution of our functional strategy.

AS THE DIRECTOR, TALENT ACQUISITION, YOU WILL:
Serve as the talent acquisition advisor and business partner for HR and business leaders within your aligned Business Groups to develop workforce plans, identify key talent gaps, and establish robust talent pipelines
Develop and implement effective strategies and talent mindset philosophies to enable your Business Groups to attract and secure diverse top talent
Lead, mentor, and coach recruiters on effective sourcing strategies, talent delivery, partner influencing, and standard talent acquisition methodologies
Own the implementation of new processes and programs, inclusive of change management to drive adoption
Provide information, analysis, and recommendations for maintenance of and improvement for Emerson’s competitive health relative to Talent Acquisition
Advance diversity, equity, and inclusion as a primary tenant of talent attraction for Emerson through talent pipelining and leadership consultation strategies
Engage actively in social media, talent communities, and industry outreach to promote and strengthen Emerson’s employer brand
Required Skills, Experience, and Talent:
8 years progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or related field
3 years people leadership experience, with preferred experience managing a remote team
Understanding of employment and immigration Law
Proven change management experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Korn Ferry Interview Architect, or similar competency models
Demonstrable experience leading multiple projects simultaneously and delivering on critical milestones
