Emerson Product Line Director - Electric Actuators in Houston, Texas

Emerson is seeking a new global business leader for our RTS Electric Actuator line. This highly visible and strategically critical role is based in our Houston, Texas location and you, with the support of your distributed team of business development, product management, engineering, operations, supply chain, and service professionals, will take a focused approach to enabling sales growth while building supply and operations capacity to match. You will have complete ownership for the product line including product strategy, engineering, and aftermarket field support. While your direct team is dedicated to RTS product line, you will collaborate with functional leaders in Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, etc. for support and alignment with business objectives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Form new cross-functional team and align to shared product line goals.

  • Coordinate product sales opportunities globally: develop forecasts, track opportunities, identify applications, and works with regional sales leaders to generate demand.

  • Manage product line strategy and related engineering development and sustaining activities including field service support.

  • Develop supply network and ramp suppliers on critical material.

  • Scale existing and create additional production lines to meet capacity needs.

  • Grow sales while maintaining product performance, quality, and profitability.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business (Engineering preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience.

  • Experience spanning sales, marketing, engineering, operations/supply chain, project management, and/or product management in a related industry or equivalent.

  • Experience forming and leading a team.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Master of Business Administration.
