Emerson Project Manager in LANGENFELD (RHEINLAND), Germany

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Functional Expertise

  • Deliver independently projects and supervise projects costs, schedules, quality and performance against established achievements; proactively handle changes and risks

  • Work with project support and finance functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting on project performance from Emerson’s business systems

  • Participates in contract negotiations with customers and vendors

  • Coordinate the projects to meet and implement the project plan daily

  • Apply PMO project execution methodology and all other vital standard processes applicable to the project scope

  • Align with Emerson Quality processes and procedures

Leadership

  • Build-up trustful and durable relationships with project team and customers

  • Promote a collaborative environment to ensure successful team interaction and efficiency

  • Open to agile leadership styles and techniques to develop an active change culture

  • Lead and develop team members to accept change readily

  • May lead internal project process improvement efforts

Business

  • Adequate support of Sales activities (e.g. proposals and contracts)

  • Proactively seeking new project opportunities

  • Handle cross-business unit work scope where vital

  • Be knowledgeable of Project Management trends and execution strategies

Who you are:

You are the point of contact for the customer on all matters, using internal and third-party resources, material and services to deliver the project scope within cost budget, agreed timescales and to the required quality.

This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge with business studies preferred

  • Confirmed experience in Industrial systems, software, process automation or application engineering capacity with project and management experience

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Excellent communicator in the local language with proficient English (verbal and written)

  • Good financial knowledge and exposure to project planning

  • Contract Management knowledge

  • Agile project execution knowledge and PMP/PMI certification - preferred
