Emerson eCommerce Specialist in MONTERREY, Mexico

Emerson is seeking an eCommerce Specialist with a strong analytical abilities, a solid understanding of and passion for growing online sales, and a desire to create extraordinary online shopping experiences. You will be responsible for the distribution of marketing content through our digital channel partners while ensuring the messaging is on-target and consistent with our brands and vision. Accomplishing this will include supervising our products across our channel partners, reviewing sales, feedback and engagements, supervising our challenging brands, analyzing our competitive positioning, and optimizing where needed. This integral eCommerce team member will need to understand how our categories are represented online and apply digital tools to analyze and differentiate our products from the competition to drive conversions. With this comes an interest in data/spreadsheet management, but more importantly a passion for driving actionable insights while handling and growing a brand catalog online.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Support the development of the overall eCommerce strategy through effective analysis, identifying trends and providing recommendations. This can require analyzing and communicating key customer and competitor data to support higher-level strategic decisions.

  • Develop rapport and maintain strong working relationships with customers to ensure goals and initiatives are met and issues are addressed timely and effectively.

  • Create, lead, and optimize the continuous improvement of online content, ensuring best in class content is positioned appropriately, brand-centric, error-free, consistent in style and messaging to optimize the shopping experience, enhance discoverability, increase traffic, drive conversions, and achieve business objectives. Collaborate with team resources to inspire changes in a timely manner.

  • Lead product portfolio within digital shelf tools to ensure alignment of critical metrics, central initiatives, and accuracy of data collection and reporting. Analyze key performance metrics, develop and maintain online sales reporting dashboards by applying data provided by direct partner connections, portals and regularly distribute to eCommerce team to make more informed decisions.

  • Serve as the PIM lead and digital shelf subject matter authority for your portfolio of customers, content maintenance, readiness tracking and measuring results.

  • Lead efforts in analyzing key ecommerce partner inventory levels, product availability and coordinating replenishment orders. This will require providing timely feedback to our key partners to create instock efficiencies and make sure to compliance rules.

  • Support analytics for paid advertising campaigns, seeing opportunities for improvement and optimization, and provide recommendations to appropriate teams to implement.

  • Conduct reporting, researching, and disputing operational chargebacks as needed, openly suggesting and driving business process improvements to mitigate issues and losses.

  • Be responsible for the cross-functional efforts of infringement violations and reporting, sales policies implementation and adherence, regularly providing feedback on pertinent issues and results-driven recommendations to resolve.

  • Collaborate with eCommerce team frequently to improve the customer experience as it pertains to sales, operations, and compliance initiatives to drive positive experiences, loyalty and repeat purchases.

  • Chip in efforts in investigating, reporting, and resolving any website and portal operational/technical issues

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Sales, Marketing or Communications with 3 years of experience in eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, Advertising, or Business Intelligence/Analytics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Outstanding analytical skills and understanding of online sales, reporting and advertising metrics

  • Proven understanding of marketplaces, eCommerce business operations, navigating customer portals

  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to an audience of all levels

  • Ability to travel up to 10% for the position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Master’s Degree a plus

  • 5 years of experience in eCommerce, Sales, Marketing, Advertising, or Business Intelligence/Analytics

  • PIM/DAM experience assessing customer requirements, configuring channels, mapping attributes

  • History of selling, marketing and selling in the Consumer Goods industry

  • Demonstrated experience working with data visualization and digital shelf tools

  • Knowledge of Amazon Advertising, Google Shopping, SEO principles

  • Knowledge of eCommerce order management and customer fulfillment
