Emerson Engineer I - ETO in PUNE, India

Job Summary:

The candidate shall be responsible for testing product functionality for Flow transmitters. They should understand the requirements and application and validate the same for various products. As a part of this role, hethey/she shall plan, design, script and execute a variety of Test cases for flow transmitters.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Motivated professional with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial product design or ETO projects. Experience in Electro-mechanical products would be added advantage.

  • Candidate must have experience in performing Design calculations, Tolerance Stack-up and problem solving.

  • Proficiency in Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, SAP, Windchill

  • Good Knowledge of GD&T, DFMA, FMEA.

  • Knowledge of Standards like ASME, ISO, IEC etc.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player.

  • Good understanding of Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Detailed analysis of the technical specifications of the orders

  • Interaction with Inside Sales, PMO and Application Engineering departments to clarify the definition of the scope of supply.

  • Work with multidisciplinary team to solve problems as part of the Design Engineering Department

  • Production of technical documentation requested by the projects such as bill of materials, assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, calculations etc.

  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in Creo Parametric and AutoCAD.

  • Create Material Master and Bill of Materials in SAP

  • Participate in Design Review Meetings, Ideation events and come up with innovative solutions.

  • Adherence to Quality processes, On time delivery & Quality of the deliverables

  • Work with cross functions - marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and other stakeholders to review the designs, update status and meet the project objectives.

  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like Casting/Machining/Sheet metal.

  • Prepare technical documentations, presentations, reports etc.

  • Willing to learn and explore new technology.

  • Should possess analytical approach in solving problems.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Education: BE/B.Tech, ME/ M.Tech Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Experience in Engineering to Order (ETO) Execution or Product Design.

  • Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision.
