Emerson LATAM Order Administrator SR in Mexico

The Senior Order Administrator plays a key role in handling Key Accounts and supporting the team leader. This position entails providing outstanding customer service to LATAM clients and coordinating the Quote to Cash processes for Tier 0, 1, and 2 orders. Additionally,]This Is in charge of customer care and order follow-up, ensuring monthly POR commitments are met, reporting shipments, leading all aspects of OTD, and maintaining the backlog on time. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Order Entry and Procurement is relevant to improve service levels. Aligning work priorities to meet customer expectations and resolving disputes promptly are key responsibilities. Maintaining compliance with procedures and policies aligned with US GAAP for backlog management is relevant, as is ensuring accurate information within the ERP system.

In this role, your responsibilities will be

Customer Service

  • Respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours.

  • Schedule weekly calls to ensure orders are on track for the customer request date.

  • Resolve disputes through direct contact with customers.

  • Provide the customer's Order Status Report.

Order Execution

  • Proactively handle order backlog.

  • Report order status.

  • Follow up on commitments and delivery achievements with customers.

  • Handle the delivery process through the internal supply chain.

  • Assess sales estimates monthly.

Sales Updates

  • Coordinate critical orders weekly with the sales team.

  • Analyze risks and opportunities based on credit status, customer feedback, plant deliveries, logistics timing, and service operations.

Who you are:

For this role, you will need:

Requirements:

  • Business Administration, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Automation), or related field.

  • English proficiency of at least 70%.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in administration orders in Final Control, reporting R&O to ensure LATAM POR, backlog management, and customer service for internal candidates; 3 years for external candidates.

  • Preferable experience with ERP programs.

  • Preferable knowledge in supply chain, administration, and logistics.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
